Jam+Rico has a strong visual identity and a real creative network. Hypernatural extended both — making it possible to go further with the brand, faster, without handing control to anyone.
Jam+Rico is a jewelry brand built from two islands: Jamaica and Puerto Rico. The plus sign in the name says it plainly: both cultures, equal depth.
For Lisette, the brand started with a memory. Her grandmother, born and raised in Jamaica, wore bangles every day. The sound of them jingling as she cooked is what Lisette wanted to carry forward. Every piece in the collection is built from that kind of feeling.
Lisette founded the brand herself. She's also a mother, running a lean operation where every tool earns its place. When it came time to grow her content output, she wasn't looking to change the brand. She was looking for a way to take it further.
Hypernatural became part of how she does that.
Jam+Rico's visual identity was already established. A strong social following, a consistent aesthetic, real creative relationships with photographers and models. The brand was working.
The question was how to keep up with it. Launches move fast. Some content ideas are hard to execute in real life — a shell becoming a bangle underwater, a necklace in the exact light and setting that inspired it, heritage imagery that feels personal rather than produced. A full shoot takes time to coordinate, and not every idea is practical to capture on camera.
Hypernatural gave her a way to go further with the brand she'd already built, without slowing down or handing it off.
Lisette uses Hypernatural for product launches, brand stories, and campaign content — keeping her calendar full on her own timeline, without a production bottleneck.
Some of what she makes would be difficult to capture any other way. A shell transforming into a bangle underwater. A necklace surrounded by the flowers and plants that inspired its design. Heritage imagery that feels intimate and specific rather than generic tropical. Hypernatural makes those visuals possible without a location scout or a perfect weather window.
The brief stays intact from start to finish. Her references are specific — the islands, the light, the materials, the skin tones — and that specificity carries all the way through to the finished video.
“Seeing the final video felt like watching a memory come to life. Jam+Rico is so rooted in culture, storytelling, and emotion, and I was surprised by how well the video captured that feeling—not just the visuals. What surprised me most was how quickly we were able to translate an idea that would normally take a full production team into something that felt elevated and true to the brand.”
Both launches went out on time. The content looked exactly like the brand — because it was made with the same care and direction Lisette brings to everything Jam+Rico puts out.
Lisette plans to keep building in Hypernatural. More launches. More content that looks like the brand she built.
The overhead stays flat. The story keeps going.
“Hypernatural opens up a whole new level of creative freedom for us. As a small brand, we often have big ideas but limited time and production resources. It allows us to tell richer stories, bring Caribbean-inspired worlds to life, and create launch content that feels aspirational and cinematic without the traditional barriers of cost and logistics. It makes the impossible feel much more within reach.”
