Drag and drop
You can reorder shots directly in either view — no dedicated drag handle, just drag the shot itself.
-
Storyboard — click and drag anywhere on a shot card, then drop it in its new position.
-
Timeline — drag the body of a shot block left or right past a neighboring shot to swap places. Dragging the block's left or right edge instead trims its duration (see Adjust the shot length) — so grab the middle of the block to reorder.
Use chat
You can also just describe the new order:
-
"Move shot 3 to the end"
-
"Swap the first two shots"
-
"Put the beach shot before the intro"
What reordering does (and doesn't) affect
-
Reordering only changes shot position — it doesn't regenerate any shot's image or animation.
-
Voiceover and music tracks keep their own position and timing on the timeline; they aren't automatically moved along with a shot (see Add, edit, or remove voiceover).
-
If a shot is timed to a specific point in your voiceover, moving it doesn't re-sync that timing — check that your narration still lines up after reordering.
